When buying home appliances online, you often have to choose between brand-new and used products. Recently, I purchased an appliance from SecondShop (https://secondshop.ca/) and was quite satisfied with the price and quality. Here’s my detailed review!

At first glance, the name “SecondShop” might make you think they sell used products. However, they actually only sell brand-new products. The difference is that these items might have minor scratches, dents, or damaged packaging. Because of this, they offer significantly lower prices compared to regular retail stores.

I reached out to customer support to ask about product condition, purchasing, and delivery details, and they responded almost instantly. Their fast and helpful support made the shopping experience even better.

SecondShop Order & Delivery – What to Expect

• Order Date: March 6, 2025 
  • When accessing the Shop app, order history and shipping status are not immediately available after purchase but you can check on website.
  • Once shipping starts, the details update automatically.

• Unexpected Issues:
  • Montreal is not available as a province option during sign-up.
  • However, guest checkout is possible, and login is only required after placing an order.

• Shipping Start Date: March 10, 2025 
  • As shown in the screenshot, the tracking number has been added to the order details page.
  • The tracking number link allows real-time monitoring of the shipment via the carrier’s website.
  • Order details and shipping history can also be viewed in the Shop app.

• Delivery Date: March 13, 2025
  • The delivery was scheduled between 3–6 PM but arrived late at 9 PM. The drivers had eight stops that day, and we were the last. Finally, I received it !

My Honest Review – Personal Experience

• Physical Condition: There is a small scratch on the side, but it is barely noticeable. The item arrived exactly as purchased from the site.
• Functionality: Works perfectly, no issues
• Value for Money: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Great deal compared to full-price options!)

The product was in pristine condition, looking brand-new with packaging intact.

The delivery team provided white glove service, setting up the refrigerator and disposing of all packaging and my old fridge.

The appliance works flawlessly. A perfect experience! I’d recommend it to friends and buy again. I would definitely recommend it to friends and would purchase from them again in the future.
